Lamington National Park – Queensland

Sunday’s are for hiking.

Since moving to Queensland, and having so many beautiful national parks on our doorstep I have made a mid year resolution! Go hiking at least once a week (or maybe every two!)

So we grabbed our friends on Sunday morning and went on our first hike here. We drove an hour from Mermaid Beach to Binna Burra.

Lamington National Park holds a range of hikes from 30 minutes to 6/7 hours. There is an information desk were you park, there you will find maps and people to talk to you regarding the different hikes you can do. The national park holds some stunning waterfalls and incredible breathtaking views.

Being in places like this make you love this beautiful world even more.

I’d highly recommend taking some time, on your own or with the people you love and going to get lost on one of the amazing national park hikes. You won’t regret it.
